Voice of the Shepherd is:

  • William Hallbrook, Messianic Rabbi, singer, songwriter.  William has served in ministry for more than 25 years.  He is the founder and Senior Rabbi at Sar Shalom, a Messianic congregation located in Ontario (Mansfield) Ohio.   He has a heart for worship, teaching, sharing the Good News, and caring for the needs of his growing congregation.
  • Denise Rose, singer, lyricist, songwriter.  Denise’s music ministry began in college where she chose to serve the Lord over a career in opera.  Since that time, she has been active in solo and group ministry, choirs, and leading worship.  After praying for a songwriting partner, Denise was led to Tikvat Yisrael Congregation in Cleveland, Ohio where she met William and Jeff and her faith as a Messianic believer in Yeshua was deepened. Today, Denise blogs and runs Facebook pages and groups, studies God’s Word, and plays a Celtic lever harp named Shekinah, which she plays for the glory of the Lord.
  • Jeff Roberts, worship leader, songwriter, piano and guitar.  Jeff is a Jewish believer in Yeshua.  In his twenties, a secular group he co-founded, Song Without Words, performed their original music in concert accompanied by a full symphony orchestra.  Years later, after Jeff heard and responded to the voice of the Shepherd in 1986, the Lord graciously began to give him songs based on the Scriptures.  Jeff has served as an elder and youth pastor and continues to serve as a worship leader at Tikvat Yisrael Messianic Congregation in Cleveland, Ohio where he has attended continually for 34 years.
